Zeichen 273, StVO Anlage 2. A motor vehicle over 3.5 t permissible mass, or a Zugmaschine, must keep at least the stated distance to a vehicle of the SAME kind in front. Personenkraftwagen und Kraftomnibusse sind ausgenommen, so as a car driver the sign is not aimed at you — §4 StVO's ordinary distance rule still is. Verified 2026-08-03.
