The built-up area ends. §3 Abs. 3 Nr. 2 StVO then gives 100 km/h for cars and other motor vehicles up to 3.5 t; 80 km/h for a car with a trailer, for buses, and for goods vehicles over 3.5 t up to 7.5 t; and 60 km/h for anything over 7.5 t and for lorries with a trailer.
