Bürgeramt Termin strategy in Frankfurt
How to catch the 06:00 weekday slot drop when all Frankfurt Bürgerämter show 'keine Termine'.
Frankfurt's Bürgerämter are better than Berlin's but worse than Cologne's. Typical wait: 3–5 weeks. The system releases fresh slots Weekdays 06:00, one week ahead.
The 06:00 drop pattern
Refresh frankfurt.de/service-und-rathaus/termine at 05:59 weekdays (Mon–Fri). Slots that became free overnight get released at 06:00 sharp. Most get taken within the first 10 minutes.
The "check all offices" trick
Instead of Zeil (central, busiest), check every Frankfurt office:
- Zeil (central)
- Nord (Eschersheim)
- Höchst (far west)
- Bockenheim (near uni)
- Sachsenhausen (south)
You can register at any of them regardless of where you live. Nord and Höchst are almost always 1–2 weeks faster than Zeil.
If nothing appears
- Try Fridays — weekend-sick cancellations hit the board then.
- Use our Termin notifier — it pings you when Frankfurt slots open in your preferred window.
- Call 115 — the Hessen-wide service hotline can occasionally slot you in manually.
- Missed your 14 days? Go anyway. First-offence fines are almost always waived for newcomers.
What not to do
Don't pay third-party "Termin services". They scrape the same portal with bots; Frankfurt has started invalidating slots booked via obvious bot patterns.
