Berlin runs on the VBB (Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg) — one ticket for U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram, bus, and Regionalzug.

Deutschlandticket
At €63/month it covers all Berlin transit + regional trains nationwide. For anyone who rides more than 16 Einzelfahrten per month, it's the better deal. Also covers trips to Potsdam + BER airport (normally ABC).

Airport
BER Brandenburg Airport is in Zone C. You need an ABC Einzelfahrt (€5) from Berlin proper, or a D-Ticket covers it. FEX (Airport Express) runs every 30 min from Hauptbahnhof.
Bikes + scooters
- Nextbike Berlin / Lidl-Bike — city-wide bike share.
- TIER / Lime / Voi — e-scooters. Pavement riding = €55 fine.
